In late 2010, I spent four months in France. It was my first time in Europe and I couldn't have picked a better place to get my first taste of the continent. I remember spending my afternoons in local coffeeshops with Parisiens intently watching horse races on the television. I remember lining up outside all the museums and touristy sights hours. Later on, I would spend 4 months living in UK where I felt more at home so I won't pretend that I fell head over heels in love with Paris because I didn't, but I loved that everything in France is like a page out of beautiful photo book. I could make images there for days on end.
My favorite memories from France span from the Mediterranean to Vimy Ridge, here's a few images from my time in the land of cheese:

Oh, I love your shots of Paris! It's such a beautiful city that it's hard to take a bad shot. It's funny- I think I have that same exact shot of the Eiffel Tower at that angle. We must have approached from the same road!
ReplyDeletethanks Mary, I snapped that shot just right below the Eiffel Tower. =)
ReplyDeleteI want to go to France so bad. The only thing holding me back is the visa requirement. Some day though....
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful country - hopefully you get to go soon!
