This fall, I'm trying to head downtown and to Brooklyn more. So as part of that mission, I made it out to NYC Craft Coffee Festival in Williamsburg last weekend to get a taste of the design-centric neighborhood, and get my caffeine buzz on.  I discovered a few new favorites at the festival, and of course couldn't pass up an opportunity to celebrate my go-to coffees. Here were the highlights for me: 

Toby's Estate: Any purposeful coffee drinker in the city - New York City that is - has heard of Toby's Estate. All beans are roaster at their Brooklyn store location, and hand packed for delivery. All coffees are roasted individually to ensure their unique taste, and the difference sure shows in their cup of Joe. 

Kopi Trading Co.: All summer long, I've been searching for the perfect cold brew and now, with the seasons changing, I think I've found it at the NYC Craft Coffee Festival. Ever since learning about Indonesia's rich coffee culture during my trip to Indonesia a few years back, I've always liked my Indonesian coffee. Kopi's cold brew is really the perfect find. 

Dona Chai: I'm an equal lover of coffee and tea. After matcha, my favorite tea is chai. I've never made chai tea myself from concentrate before, but after trying Dona Chai over the weekend, I left the coffee festival with a big bottle for the apartment. I can't wait to get into this delicious concentrate. 

Underwest Donuts: You can't have a coffee festival without bringing in a donut vendor - you simply just can't have one without the other. Underwest reminds me of some of my favorite donut shops out on the west coast, think Blue Star Donuts in Portland Oregon - delicious and so hard to stop at one.
